NOISE ASSESSMENT

The PAN Acoustics noise monitors gather both a continual stream of decibel readings as well as a continuous audio recording.  Some of our devices also capture directional data, to identify the source of the noise.

Once we have captured the data it is compressed and encrypted for privacy and uploaded to our servers.  Once at the servers our AI methodically analyses the audio recordings and identifies the pickleball noise as distinct from all other noise types occurring in the local environment.  This allows us to accurately count the number of detected “pops”, which we then report to the party requesting the monitoring in 2 ways:

  1. Via daily emailed dashboards, showing up to the previous 14 days with daily counts of pickleball pops detected on an hour-by-hour basis throughout the day
  1. Via a report at the end of the monitoring, which describes the full details of the monitoring, the technology and our process, and the results from the monitoring.
